Dr. Jorge A. Rodriguez

Dr. Rodriguez earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD) in New Orleans. Before pursuing his dental degree, he graduated from LSUSD's Dental Laboratory Technology program, giving him a unique perspective that bridges the clinical and technical sides of dentistry.

His background in dental laboratory technology provides him with a detailed understanding of the materials, design, function, and aesthetics involved in restorative and prosthodontic treatment. This experience allows him to take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to treatment planning and work closely with dental laboratories to achieve restorations that prioritize fit, function, durability, and aesthetics.

At Camenzuli Dental Excellence, Dr. Rodriguez provides a wide range of general and restorative dental services, tailoring treatment to each patient's individual needs and goals. His clinical experience includes comprehensive and limited examinations, diagnostic imaging, restorative dentistry, endodontic therapy, extractions, prosthodontic treatment, and emergency dental care.

Dr. Rodriguez believes that excellent dentistry begins with listening. He takes the time to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer questions so patients can make informed decisions about their oral health. His goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel respected, understood, and confident in their care.

Throughout his education at LSU School of Dentistry, Dr. Rodriguez demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and professional development, serving as Class President during both his Dental Laboratory Technology and Doctor of Dental Surgery programs.

His academic and leadership achievements include the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Health Scholarship, the Pierre Fauchard Certificate of Merit, the Chancellor's Award, the Honors in Leadership Award, and the LSUSD Alumni Award.

Dr. Rodriguez remains committed to advancing the dental profession and serving his community through organized dentistry, including his involvement as a board member with the Louisiana Dental Association and the New Orleans Dental Association.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and helping them feel at ease throughout their dental visits. He believes clear communication and mutual trust are essential to building lasting relationships and delivering quality care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenna, and their dog, Murphy. He and Jenna love traveling together, attending local festivals, and embracing the culture and community that make South Louisiana special. They also look forward to growing their family in the coming years. When he is not traveling or enjoying time with family, Dr. Rodriguez is an enthusiastic supporter of the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and New Orleans Pelicans.

Whether he is helping a patient restore their smile or cheering on his favorite teams, Dr. Rodriguez brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine appreciation for the people and community around him.
